  • Executive Director at BBVA (2010-2013). Global Head of Sovereign Wealth Funds and Pension Funds. BBVA is a top Spanish bank and one of the largest banks in the world with over $500 billion in AuM. Initially joined to help set-up BBVA's FIG group

  • Founding member of Capital Management Group (2001-2005), an M&A advisory and private equity company in the European market 

  • Executive Director at Banco Santander (1996-2000), the largest European bank by market capitalization with over € 1.2 billion of AuM. Responsible for setting up a Client Solutions Group within the advisory platform of Santander Investment 

 

  • Director at Lehman Brothers International (1993-1995) in London. Responsible for the Southern European institutional and corporate sales team 

 

  • Responsible for Northern European coverage of Central Banks, Agencies and Supranational accounts at Bankers Trust International (1990-1992)

 

  • Graduate from the Australian Graduate School of Management,1988-1989 (MBA) and the University of New South Wales (B.Eng. Honours) between 1982-1985. Completely bilingual in English and Spanish
