Cohen & Co. Global Financial Advisory, the Senior M&A boutique specialized in the EMEA midmarket, announces the appointment of François Faure as Senior Advisor. Francois will join Senior Civil Servant and Industrialist Philippe Jurgensen at the Strategic Senior Advisory Board of Cohen & Co. François Faure is the initiator of the NewCodeTM project. NewCodeTM proposes a new framework for the interaction ofhuman and financial capital within the enterprise system. François is the CEO of NewCode Conseil SAS and of NewCode Advisers Limited. He also co-chairs Académie NewCode, a think-tank dedicated to the project. Prior to this, François Faure was an investment banker, advising French and international clients for over 25 years on M&A and financing and restructuring transactions. He closely advised the CEOs and CFOs of multinationals such as State Owned Electricity giant EDF. He held prominent positions in a number of reputable firms such as AlixPartners, Houlihan Lokey, Deutsche Bank, Bankers Trust, Wasserstein Perella, Indosuez and Crédit National. François is recognized for its strategic, structuring, deal- making and negotiation skills, and also for its ability toturnaround and grow businesses, and motivate teams. He worked out of London City for a decade, and masters both Anglo-Saxon and Continental European work methodologies and cultures. François started its career with the French State Department of Industry, where he worked on matters and programmes

relating to industrial policy and international cooperation. He holds a degree from the most prestigious Engineers school in France, Ecole Polytechnique and of Ecole des Ponts et Chaussés (civil engineering).About Cohen & Co.
